One Kind Act are proud to announce the Super Six Fundraiser for Mama&Me:
Six determined friends — Paavani, Inarah, Mia, Ayla, Aleina and Aamaya are coming together as the “Super Six” to take on an exciting challenge: raising £5,000 for the Mama & Me initiative to renovate an Anganwadi Centre (AWC).
AWCs are Preschool Centres in India for children aged under 6 and are described as the World's Largest Outreach Program, providing Nutritional Support, Early Childhood Care & Development to Children, Pregnant and Lactating Mothers, & Adolescent Girls.
During the Easter holidays, the six girls will push themselves with a series of fun but meaningful challenges, including a 5K run/walk, bake sale, reading challenge, and making and selling bracelets.
Through their teamwork and determination, the Super Six hope to make a real difference by helping to create a safe, happy learning space for young children who are less fortunate.
Every step they take, every cake they bake, every book they read and every bracelet they make will help give children a better start in life.
But they can’t do it alone.
Your donation — big or small — can help transform a preschool into a safe, clean, and inspiring place for young children to start their education and build a brighter future.
Please donate if you can and help us reach our £5,000 goal.
The money raised will be used to:
Repair the building, including fixing leaks, improving the floor, and adding solar panels for electricity. It will provide clean drinking water and better toilets so the children stay healthy. Babies from 6 months old will receive healthy food and regular health check-ups. From age 3, children join the preschool program, where they learn through digital tools, toys, and fun activities. By age 6, the children are ready to start school with strong learning skills.
